Rotary Club of Plainsboro - North & South Brunswick hosted a virtual run to encourage fitness and health among the people of Central New Jersey. The goal was to pull folks away from screen-oriented activities (i.e. TV, video games, social media) and get them out of the house to do something active.

Doing a virtual run allowed participants to maintain COVID-19 safety precautions and social distancing. From August 22nd to September 7th, the participants could run or walk their 5 miles anytime, anywhere, and in as many segments as they would like. The progress was tracked using a mobile app.

The service project had an overwhelming success with more than 100 participants signing in and raising over Two Thousand dollars in voluntary donations.
